However, all other providers still seemd to sail and when we were on a similar sailing with another provider we saw the Clipper City sailing on the East River with no apprarent problems, one hour before our "cancellation". “The captain greeted the guests briefly, gave safety instructions and that was about all there there was in communication. There was no 'sailing' the crew did not even bother to raise all the sails. So, I would not call this a "sailing tour". The crew looked inexperienced in their activities and were not at all communicating with anyone. The 'champagne' was probably the cheapest money can buy. The band was mediocre and everything the girl said sounded more like a 'lets get it over with' attitude.... Overall, this was rather disappointing. The competitor does a much better job in making guests feel welcome on board.”
